Adrienne ChoksiMD
Dr. Adrienne Choksi is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in general and cosmetic dermatology. She was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, then attended the University of Texas at Austin for undergraduate studies. She earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, where she earned the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society award for being in the top of her class. Dr. Choksi then moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she did an internship in internal medicine, followed by residency training in dermatology at the University of Michigan.
After finishing residency, Dr. Choksi worked for several years in academic practice, where she gained experience with complex skin cancer patients. She received an outstanding teacher award from dermatology residents and has been published in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Choksi has experience with general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Her interests include general and cosmetic dermatology, in addition to early detection and prevention of skin cancer.
Dr. Choksi is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Texas Medical Association, the Harris County Medical Society, the Texas Dermatological Society and the Houston Dermatological Society.
Adrienne lives in Houston with her husband, two children and dog. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family, running, cooking and gardening.
