
Kristin MarcumMD, F.A.C.S.
Dr. Kristin Marcum is a fighting Texas Aggie where she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Biomedical Science. She then received her M.D. from University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston, where she was elected to the Alpha omega Alpha honor society. She completed her residency at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. While at Wake Forest, she received the Patient Appreciation Award for three years in a row. Her practice encompasses all aspects of otolaryngology, including adult and pediatric, with a special focus on allergy/sinus and innovative minimally invasive techniques. She performs a wide range of surgical procedures including adenotonsillectomy, placement of ear tubes, nasal and sinus surgery, thyroidectomy, parotidectomy and removal of benign neck masses. Dr. Marcum now performs balloon sinuplasty with in office sedation anesthesia and image guided technology. In her spare time, Dr. Marcum enjoys movies, running after her son, dressing up her daughters and spoiling her dog. Dr Marcum is a fellow of the American college of surgeons and is now accepting new patients.
