As we continue to navigate the steady increase of COVID-19 patients across Houston, we at the Center for ENT are actively modifying operations to ensure resources are available to care for our patients in the safest way possible.
Outpatient elective surgeries continue at hospitals. However, with the increasing levels of COVID-positive patients, elective surgeries are being scrutinized and potentially postponed or rescheduled. Here in lies the dilemma: Patients still require this level of care.
The Center for ENT is sympathetic to this need. We continue to offer specific elective procedures in-office. For persons who have chronic sinus disease, we continue to offer cutting-edge balloon sinuplasty and turbinate reduction in office. Some of the newer procedures we offer in 2021 are as follows: Latera, Elevoplasty, Eustachian tube balloon dilation.
Have you forgotten what it feels like to freely breathe through your nose? Does it feel like someone is always pinching off your nasal airway? Do you have poor sleep quality? Latera might be what you need to improve your nasal airway with an implantable device. Let us help you at the Center for ENT.
Does your partner complain that your snoring keeps them awake? When you travel with colleagues, do they insist on having a room down the hall from you because of your snoring? We at the Center for ENT have the answer: Elevoplasty! This implantable palatal device helps reduce snoring. It also prevents you for having to wear an oral appliance at night and also keeps you from having to undergo a more invasive palatal procedure. We offer this at the Center for ENT.
Do your ears always feel clogged? Do you feel pressure in your ears? Is your hearing muffled? The Center for ENT has the answer to your problems by offering eustachian tube balloon dilation. This in-office procedure can provide you with effective relief of your symptoms. A balloon is temporarily inserted into the eustachian tube opening to dilate the opening and equalize pressure.
Here at the Center for ENT, we can offer treatment for these conditions. Please allow us to help improve your quality of life.
